I love reading your posts here as well as on the other sites you write for. Wait, What is my favorite two hours of entertainment a week and it definitely is inspiring me to write more and to read more. Though I am not much of a freelance writer, I did have a relatively steady four months writing for a website that decided to go in a different direction this week. But until someone else pays me to write, I suppose I'll just write for myself.

Either way, I hope people pay you lots of money soon and wherever it is, I'll read it.

The opening credits were where I knew this would be a fun movie too. It may not be as awesome as the books (I hated losing the Kim Pine stuff), but it's still a great movie and it's got some great tunes in it.

Since I first heard the song in Guitar Hero 2 I mostly think of it in terms of the way the guitar sounds in the track over the lyrical content of the song. Well, to be honest, I'm more of a music than a lyric guy to begin with, but my favorite part of this song is that great instrumental break near the end.

You're right, though, the lyrics are hilariously naive, but this is a song that makes me smile and that's about as good a definition of pop as you can get.
