This remains absolutely nuts. But it’s 100% worth it for the musical performances, especially the soulified version of “I’m A Believer” (4:34) and the joyful, increasingly crazy, version of “Listen to the Band” (42:24 or thereabouts). But still: this ended up on primetime network television.
