I think about this demon a lot these days. It’s an older one, back from before I started the official 100 Demon Dialogues project. I think this was the entry that made me realize there was something bigger going on.
It’s the thing I think of when I feel intimidated by other creators, or by opportunities that come my way.
It’s on my mind as I gear up to do an event in San Francisco tomorrow, at a venue I’ve dreamed of performing in since I was 12, with people I admire and respect.
A year ago I probably would’ve been petrified, but today it feels just right.
