IN THE WORLD, Y’ALL.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cry from laughing, you’ll hiccup from crying, there’s gonna be a lot of stuff going on with your face, let’s put it that way.
Oh hey— I made a write-em-up about amusement parks (which are places I’m not really into). It’s not exactly Baudrillard, but I’ve never really written as much about anything besides comic books, not that I can remember, in recent memory at least, so that was new. Plus more importantly, it’s got itself some beautiful photos! Hoo-wee, look at those photos! You won’t be saying “Soo-wee“ because that’s a pig-related farmer noise; you’ll be saying ”hoo-wee“ because that is a Wikitionary-recognized sound of delight; those two words are very similar, and yet in every critical way different. And I’d like to think that’s the key to this whole life thing.
I haven’t read this yet, but there’s almost no way it’s not going to be a highlight of my day.
